    Mexican Rice

This is something I used to cook way before I started “dieting” and now it seems every time I have it on the menu we end up with a takeaway! Tonight, I finally managed to cook it again and I forgot how good it is for a simple, 1 pan dish. It’s a great way of using up wrinkly veg too as you can chuck whatever you fancy in it. You can also make it vegetarian, which I have done many times before, by simply removing the chicken. March Wish Buys

Many of you may have seen or heard about Wish. It’s a shopping app and quite frankly, my new addiction! You can buy pretty much anything on there and most of it comes from East Asia and is ridiculously cheap. We all know that cheap isn’t always good but I’ve got to say, I’ve been pretty impressed with most of the things I’ve bought. Bacon, Leek and Potato Soup

Bacon, Leek and Potato Soup is the perfect winter-warmer. I do love soup! There’s just something about it when the weather is miserable and cold. Soup is just the perfect meal. It warms you from the inside out. This Bacon, Leek and Potato soup is perfect for those grey, rainy days and is really filling thanks to the potato. It’s also a good way of using up some sad looking potatoes lurking in the cupboard. If you don’t fancy this one why not try my Chunky Vegetable Soup or Carrot And Coriander Soup With Crunchy Croutons instead? There’s a soup for everyone in my eyes!

I like to try and find things that don’t cost the earth but I feel like I’m treating myself a little. This month I was on the look out for a new face wash, my most recent one was a cleansing milk that came in one of my first Glossybox’s and I tried scouring the internet for more but it was only available from abroad and I’m not paying out for the product then shipping costs! I read through…

    Cottage Pie

A classic winter warmer, you just can’t beat proper comfort food. This takes me back to being a child as it was one of my mum’s favourite, easy meals. My recipe is slightly different to my mum’s one but the basics are the same.
