My Last Ever Glossybox – May 2020

Yes, you read that right. After 3 or 4 years (it’s been that long I can’t remember) I’m finally saying goodbye to Glossybox. This is my last ever Glossybox. I’ve been getting it since my blog started and it was one of my first ever blog posts. As much as I still enjoy it, I think our time together has run its course. I get a lot of the same products and I’m just not getting the joy I once was. It’s time to move on to bigger and brighter things! (Quite literally.) I have now joined another monthly subscription box but it’s not a beauty one and you will…

Lush Hair Care Bars – Naturally Gorgeous Hair

I bought a couple of Lush hair care bars a few months back to give them a try. You can’t beat a good hair care product so I figured I may as well review them. I really struggle with shampoos and how much they irritate my scalp. I found an amazing shampoo and conditioner a while back when I got sent them to review. Click Here to read that review. For the first time ever I got rid of the itchy lumps that had plagued me for years! My hair felt amazing and healthy and life was good. Then my local Tesco stopped stocking them and I’ve not found them…

    July 18 Glossybox Review

It’s that time again, another Glossybox review! We’re now over halfway through the year, seriously, where has time gone?? We’ve had one of the hottest July’s on record and it has been glorious! But because of this, I have decided I’m going to go live in the sea and become a mermaid… This month’s Glossybox will help me do just that! The Beach theme for this month’s box is spot on! The box itself is absolutely beautiful with its ocean colours and reflective water look. Unfortunately my box was a little worse for wear in one corner but I think I managed to disguise it for photos. The contents this…

    Naturally Beautiful Haircare

When I think about what shampoos and conditioners contain I just imagine a lot of chemical sounding ingredients that I can’t pronounce. I have real issues with my hair and scalp and finding a product that works for me is quite hard. I have an itchy scalp, greasy roots and dry ends so a real combination! Shampoos can really irritate my scalp but I need something that actually cleans my hair. In other words, I hate finding shampoos! When I got offered the chance to try natural products, I’ve got to admit, I was a little sceptical but I’ll try anything once so requested the Argan and Amla set. I…

    My New Hair Saviour!

In previous blog posts I’ve commented on the condition of my hair and how I have to be careful what I use because of it. I have the worst combination of greasy roots and dry ends but with a sensitive scalp which can lead to an itchy, flaky scalp (which is insane given I have naturally greasy roots, I just can’t win!). I’ve been using Herbal Essences volume shampoo and conditioner recently as I found a volume shampoo helps with the greasiness a bit more but I still heavily rely on dry shampoo by the day after I’ve washed my hair and I usually have to wear it up as…

    The Beauty and The Beast

Evening! Tomorrow is a rather big day for me and it’s a busy one! Little Miss and I are off to do some catwalk modelling for my friend’s bridal shop. This will be the 3rd time I’ve done it but the first time Little Miss has been with me. So we’re ready to go bright and early we have both had a shower and I saw this as a perfect opportunity to review a couple of items.
