Lavera Natural Makeup Review
I was gifted a range of makeup products by Lavera and this is my honest review. I’ve been following Lavera on Instagram for a while now as I am really interested in natural products. I try to use as many as I can as they tend to be better for my skin and the environment too. Lavera’s products are 100% certified as natural and the do a huge range of makeup and skin products. Some of the products are Vegan Certified too but you’ll have to check their website to be sure of which ones. I am a little obsessed with makeup so when they asked me what I wanted…

January Makeup Favourites
My first beauty post of 2019! And for once it’s not a Glossybox Review. I thought I’d do a quick post about my favourite makeup products at the moment. I got a couple of them for Christmas and another couple beforehand but I am loving them all this month. It has been noted before that I can be a bit lazy when it comes to hair and makeup. I love the stuff though and when I do put a face on, I like to make sure it’s noticed. You can read my Lazy Girl’s Guide To A No Makeup, Makeup Look here. And also my Hair And Beauty Hacks post…

December 18 Glossybox Review
I thought I’d better get this review in before the New Year! And before January’s box gets sent out. I missed doing November’s review as I just never got round to it. There were so many other ideas running around my little head that Glossybox took a bit of a backseat. I managed to get some nice photography of the products this month so I really wanted to post them! There were also some really nice products in the box this month. The box itself was beautiful. A red and gold theme with “All That Glitters” on the lid. It definitely felt Christmasy and even more so when I realised…

A Lazy Girl’s Guide To A No Makeup, Makeup Look
The no makeup, makeup look is massively on trend at the moment but if you’re anything like me then you’ve been rocking it daily for the past 10 years anyway. I am a self-proclaimed lazy beauty lover as seen in this previous post:Â 5 Hair & Beauty Hacks For Lazy People I like to look good but with minimal effort. Makeup is a big love of mine but who honestly has the time to slap on a full face every morning? Not me! I’d rather spend that extra time sleeping. Now, the ULTIMATE lazy girl would just hop out of bed and go. Not worrying about any makeup at all. Unfortunately,…

October 18 Glossybox – Halloween Treat Box
I know I say this every month but how is it October already!? This year seems to have flown by and I have no idea how it’s almost over. But on to the October 18 Glossybox anyway. October of course means Halloween so there were 2 boxes up for grabs this month. I received the Treat Box and having seen the Trick one, I’d rather have had that but oh well! I still liked this box. It is definitely a pretty box, there’s no denying that! It appeals to my inner goth sooooooo much! Which is also why I’m a little gutted I didn’t get the Trick box. That contained…

The JoJo Hairbrush Review
We’ve all heard of or seen JoJo Bows, even if you have no idea who this JoJo is. Well she’s a dancer, just in case you did wonder. She found fame on the American TV series Dance Mom’s, which is exactly what her mother wanted for her. Got to give it to the kid though, she’s done well! Children across the country went mad for JoJo Bows when they were first released and my daughter was no different. She has a couple of different sized ones and they are still worn regularly. You can imagine her excitement when I revealed the new double sided brush I had been sent! We…

September 18 Glossybox Review
I can’t believe we’re at the end of September already! Where is this year going? September is of course “back to school” month so the September 18 Glossybox theme follows that. The items are handbag and beauty essentials that can help you get back on track and into the school run routine again. I really like this month’s box, it was nice to have such a mix of products. Here’s what was in it: We’ll go left to right this month and start with… Grow Gorgeous – Scalp Detox We’re actually starting with the product I like the least. It’s like a scrub for your scalp, designed to remove impurities…

A Pony Called What? – Product Review
Am I the only person that still has smellies left over from Christmas? Over 8 months later and I still have a few but I’m a little sick of smelling like my Nan’s favourite flowery scent. Again, is that just me that ends up with “lavender” or “white lily”? Don’t get me wrong, I love lilies, they’re my favourite flower but have you ever really smelt one? If I have fresh ones in the house I spend a good day or so wondering who’s done a wee in the kitchen! Old fashioned smells are something of the past now though. I have swapped out a couple of my current products…

August Empties 2018 – What I’ve Used Up This Month
I’ve seen many a beauty blogger doing these types of posts. I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and post about the products I’ve finished off this month. I am not the biggest user of beauty products; I am very lazy (which you can read about HERE). That also means this won’t be a regular thing unfortunately. It takes me a while to use products up as I don’t tend to stick to the same ones day in day out. But anyway, back to this month and my August empties! This month I have come to the end of 5 different products. This post is basically a run-down of what the…

August Glossybox ’18 Review
It’s that time of the month again: The August Glossybox time! I’ve managed to get through the products quite quickly this month. The main reason being, it was mainly makeup and the 2nd reason being, I didn’t try some of it. So the theme this month was ‘Pride’. It was of course Brighton Pride this month and I think it was a great theme for this month’s Glossybox. The special edition box looked great! The multicolour, paint splashed, rainbow lid looks beautiful. The inside looks just as good with the rainbow dots on the ribbon. Everything about the theme was fantastic, it’s a shame about some of the products. Let’s…
